FRIDAY, AUGUST 21: GLASGOW CITY TOUR

Tour begins at 2:30 PM at your Glasgow hotel. Set out on a tour of central Glasgow’s highlights including red sandstone Victorian buildings, delightful parks, Glasgow Cathedral, and the River Clyde, once important for shipbuilding. Visit the extensive and varied art collections in Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Chat with your tour director and fellow travelers over a welcome drink. The evening is free for you to dine independently.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22: LOCH LOMOND CRUISE | INVERARAY CASTLE

Embark on a short cruise of Loch Lomond to appreciate the beauty of this famous loch and admire panoramic views. Browse around the town of Inveraray and have lunch on your own before taking a guided tour of Inveraray Castle, featured in “Downton Abbey”. Journey across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe, often considered one of Scotland’s most spectacular and beautiful places. Continue to Ballachulish on the shore of Loch Leven. (Breakfast, Dinner)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23: ISLE OF SKYE | EILEAN DONAN CASTLE

Take the “Road to the Isles” through some of Scotland’s loveliest scenery, stopping for photos at the Glenfinnan Monument. Take a ferry to the Isle of Skye, where you will take a short panoramic drive and then visit the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle. Keep your camera handy as you travel the shores of Loch Ness on your way to Nairn. (Breakfast, Dinner)

MONDAY, AUGUST 24: CULLODEN BATTLEFIELD | SHEEPDOG TRAILS

A short distance from Nairn is the Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre where the British government forces defeated the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, popularly known as Bonnie Prince Charlie. Walk around the moorland and the visitor center. Continue through majestic Highland scenery to a local farm for a demonstration of trained dogs herding sheep. Travel through the high peaks of the Grampian Mountains to your gracious manor-style hotel near Pitlochry. (Breakfast, Dinner)

TUESDAY, AUGUST 25: BLAIR CASTLE | WHISKY TASTING

Visit Blair Castle, home of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Delve into the history of Mary, Queen of Scots, Bonnie Prince Charlie, and how Queen Victoria's famous stay led to the creation of Europe's only private army, the Atholl Highlanders. Go behind the scenes at Blair Athol Distillery for a tour and sample of the finished product. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the gardens, hotel museum, or browsing around Pitlochry. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26: GLAMIS CASTLE| ST. ANDREWS

Travel through lush countryside to visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of “Macbeth” and childhood home of the late Queen Mother. This majestic building is filled with priceless artifacts and furnishings. Head to St Andrews, the “Home of Golf,” to see the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the Old Course. Enjoy free time to browse around the medieval town. In Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, enjoy a traditional Scottish evening with dinner, haggis, bagpipes, kilts, and Highland dancing. THURSDAY, AUGUST 27: EDINBURGH CASTLE | CITY TOUR

Explore Edinburgh to compare and contrast the wide streets and elegant mansions of the Georgian 200-year-old “New Town” with the narrow lanes and medieval townhouses along the Royal Mile, the oldest part of the city. Tour the imposing Edinburgh Castle with its splendid views of the city. The rest of the afternoon is free for independent exploring, shopping, and dining. (Breakfast)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28: FLY TO IRELAND | GUINNESS STOREHOUSE

Guinness Glasses

Your Scotland tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to Edinburgh Airport and fly to Dublin {Flight not included in tour package price}. In Dublin, you will transfer to your hotel. This afternoon visit the Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, Gravity, overlooking the city center where you can sample a draft Guinness and enjoy the view of the city. The evening is free for you to explore Dublin and the Temple Bar area. (Breakfast)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29: AER LINGUS COLLEGE FOOTBALL CLASSIC

This morning enjoy attending the Recess 4 Grownups tailgate party in a Temple Bar pub reserved just for our guests. Then we’ll drive to Aviva Stadium, a sporting stadium with a capacity for 51,700 spectators. It is also commonly known as Lansdowne Road while UEFA refers to it as the Dublin Arena. Today, Notre Dame and Navy will kick off the football season in what is hoped to be an epic game, where bragging rights are on the line. (Breakfast)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 30: DUBLIN | MERRY PLOUGHBOY SHOW

Enjoy your day in Dublin independently on the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour and a visit to your choice of one of Dublin’s top attractions – Teeling Distillery, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, or the General Post Office Museum. This evening drive to the town of Rathfarnham to The Merry Ploughboy Pub for dinner followed by a lively show of traditional Irish songs, dancing and music. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Tour packages are land only and airfare is not included.

All travel packages are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour space is limited, and pricing is subject to change prior to deposit. Land tour prices are guaranteed once deposited. It is best to make reservations early to ensure you can confirm your desired travel package.

Name Change Policies:

Name Changes - Air:

    • Cannot change names or substitute for air reservations.

Name Changes - Land Tour:

    • October 15, 2019: No change fee
    • October 16, 2019 – May 31, 2020: $300 change fee/tour package
    • After June 1, 2020: No Changes Allowed
