Tour starts 2:00 PM at your Dublin hotel. Set out on a panoramic tour of central Dublin, a friendly city famed for its wit and sense of fun. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with your group at The Church Café Bar and Restaurant; this converted building is where brewer Arthur Guinness was married, playwright Sean O’Casey was baptized, and where Handel practiced the organ before the first-ever public performance of his “Messiah” in 1742. Head to the small, historic city of Kilkenny for a walking tour along its Medieval Mile to experience its rich heritage, narrow streetscapes, and well-preserved merchants’ houses. Stop at one of its classic pubs. Smell the hops and enjoy a sample on a tour of Smithwick’s Experience, telling the story of the popular brewery in the heart of the city since 1710. Visit the Marine Bar in Dungarvan and enjoy a drink with some traditional music in this centuries-old family-run pub. Travel on to visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous stone, which legend promises will bestow the “Gift of the Gab” or explore the beautiful gardens. Pass through County Cork to the lively town of Killarney – a draw for visitors to Ireland since the 18th century – where you will have free time to explore some of its friendly pubs, many with live music. TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2023: DINGLE PENINSULA | CELTIC WHISKEY BAR

Head to the glorious Dingle Peninsula, made famous by two movies, “Ryan’s Daughter” and “Far & Away,” which showcased the wonderful scenery. Visit the South Pole Inn for an Irish coffee and learn about Tom Crean, an early explorer who bravely journeyed to the South Pole and opened the pub in 1927 after his return to Ireland. Visit a farm for an immersion into traditional farming life and watch skilled sheepdogs demonstrate their talents at herding. Enjoy some free time and lunch on your own in the town of Dingle. Then head to Sean’s Bar in Athlone. Sean’s Bar is not only the oldest in Ireland; dating back to 900 AD, it’s the oldest in Europe, according to the Guinness Book of Records. Enjoy the scenery of central Ireland as you head to Dublin on the east coast. Visit the Guinness Storehouse in the heart of the city, one of Ireland’s most popular attractions, and enjoy a sample of Ireland’s iconic brew as you enjoy the panoramic view from the 7th floor Gravity Bar. In the evening, head to the Irish Whiskey Museum, where you will take a short private tour and savor a tasting. You’ll enjoy a special after-hours experience with an information dinner and music from a traditional band – and they’ll provide instruments so you can learn to play along. (Breakfast)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, 2023: AER LINGUS COLLEGE FOOTBALL CLASSIC

This afternoon enjoy attending the Recess 4 Grownups tailgate party in a Temple Bar pub reserved just for our guests. Then we’ll drive to Aviva Stadium, a sporting stadium with a capacity for 51,700 spectators. It is also commonly known as Lansdowne Road while UEFA refers to it as the Dublin Arena. Today, Notre Dame and Navy will kick off the football season in what is hoped to be an epic game, where bragging rights are on the line. (Breakfast)

Payment Amounts and Dates for Notre Dame-Navy Tour Packages

General Tour Inclusions – see tour listing for specifics:

• Football Game Tickets for College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium, Notre Dame vs. Navy
• Exclusive Tailgate party in Temple Bar pub for Recess 4 Grownups tour guests, including food and beverage
• Hotel accommodation based on double occupancy rooms with private bath as listed in specific tour description
• Full Irish breakfast each morning of tour (after first overnight)
• Transport by luxury motorcoach with a professional Irish driver/guide (one man) for tour days
• Airport transfers on tour start and end dates
• Additional meals, visits, activities, and admission fees as described in specific tour itinerary
• Hotel porterage, service charges and government taxes
• Flight bags, ticket wallets, baggage tags and identifying strap

Tour packages are land only and airfare is not included.

All travel packages are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour space is limited, and pricing is subject to change prior to deposit. Land tour prices are guaranteed once deposited. It is best to make reservations early to ensure you can confirm your desired travel package.

Tour Package Cancellation Policies:

• Through August 31, 2022: $250/tour package
• September 1, 2022 - May 22, 2023: $1250/tour package
• May 23, 2023: Non-refundable

Name Change Policies:

Name Changes - Air:

• Cannot change names or substitute for air reservations.

Name Changes - Land Tour:

• July 31, 2022: No change fee
• August 1, 2022 - February 28, 2023: $300 change fee/tour package
• After March 1, 2023: No Changes Allowed
